Flake & Full Flake Floor Coatings in Orlando

Colored chips seeded into wet resin give plain concrete pattern, grip and a more forgiving appearance. We offer two distinct versions: full flake, saturated edge to edge, and partial flake, a sparse scattering over a tinted base.

Full flake from $5/sq ft · Partial flake garages from $900.

Full Flake

Full flake: complete coverage

Also known as a full broadcast or chip floor. Chips keep landing on the wet resin until no tint shows anywhere; loose pieces are scraped off and vacuumed up before the polyaspartic top coat. Along with quartz, it is the system we recommend most for wet or exterior concrete.

What you get is an evenly speckled, grippy surface — the more slip-resistant of the two. The multi-tone speckle is also what people mean by a forgiving floor: everyday grit and small marks blend in instead of standing out against one flat shade. Households pick it for daily parking, and it also suits selected storefronts and offices.

Want a chip blend designed around a collection? Custom flake belongs to our Signature tier ($7–10/sq ft) and pairs with bespoke garage designs.

Partial Flake

Partial flake: an entry option for garages

Partial flake garages from $900

Here the chips are sprinkled sparingly, so the tint beneath stays on show. Far fewer chips means far less material cost, which explains most of the gap in price.

Applied carefully, it still looks tidy and complete. We don't market it as slip-resistant; when traction matters most, go full.

Flake vs full flake — ask what your quote includes

Almost everyone calls both of these "flake." That is where quotes get confusing: a partial flake price and a full flake price can look far apart on paper, simply because they describe different floors.

So when you compare numbers, ask one question: is this quote partial flake or full flake? For reference, our partial flake garages start at $900, while full flake runs $5–7/sq ft — about $2,250–3,150 for a 450 sq ft garage.

Which one suits you?

Lean toward full flake if…

  • traction matters
  • you want zero bare tint showing
  • a busy, speckled pattern appeals

Lean toward partial flake if…

  • budget comes first
  • you like seeing the base tint
  • a lighter, simpler look is enough

Either way, chips are only seeded after the slab has been properly prepped. Our entire installation sequence covers that.

One-Day Installation

Flake floor questions

Yes. "Chip" and "flake" are two names for the same decorative pieces broadcast into the base coat, and "full broadcast" means full flake.

Full flake. Saturated coverage leaves a rough, slip-resistant texture. The sparse version is lighter underfoot, and we don't claim traction for it.

Usually because one is partial flake and the other is full flake. Ask each company which one they are pricing before you compare.

It consumes a fraction of the chips. That keeps it an entry option, starting at $900.

Yes, in selected commercial spaces — see commercial coatings.

Yes. Custom flake sits in our Signature tier; describe the look on the phone and we'll go through options.

Vehicles can go back in after 5 days. The full timeline is on our garage page.
